This site is all about our XR4x4 Track car (the white one) and my XR4x4 Twin Turbo (the blue one).
The Track Prepared Project Car.A group of 4 of us purchased this 1989 Ford Sierra XR4x4 2.9i on 29th May 2000. Since then we have done quite a lot of work upgrading the car to be suitable for the track, keeping (most of the time) to a tight budget. We have attended many track days in it which you can find details, pictures and videos of on this site as well as details and costs for our upgrades. The car was recently converted to Twin Turbo! |
 My Twin Turbo. A while ago I decided that I had had enough of my GSI Cavalier and wanted something with more power and a lot more traction. I decided that a twin turbo XR4x4 was the ideal solution, loads of power and loads of traction with the advantage of being quite cheap to maintain. I found a reasonable example, needed a bit of work doing, but the guy was willing to do a straight swap for the Cav, it would be rude not to!! |
 Both of the XR4's have now been sold on and I am no longer an XR4 owner! However, this site will remain
in place but there will be no further updates in the forseable future. I will be continuing to do trackdays as I have just
purchased a 2.0 Westfield :o) I will post reports from that on another section of my site
when I do one. |
